A series of unconventional portraits, created to explore and reflect on the idea of the inaccuracies and distortions of memories.

These moments that have passed, will never occur again in any form other than these ambiguous photographs. Filters, coloured gels, lenses and other objects have been used to mask the reality of the subject. Each portrait was also shot on film to accentuate the "truthfulness" and to play with the viewers understanding of the real. Taking influence from the use of muses in painting, the same subjects were photographed meticulously, as a form of preservation. Portraits, which traditionally were used to show information about a person, become aesthetic and vague descriptions of what these people used to be.
